It’s come to that time now that fashion month is over, where we all start wondering what did we do before then? I will miss pondering through the Vogue Runway app, seeing who’s dropped what. But although it’s over I put together my favourite collections from the last two cities, Milan & Paris.
Milan certainly didn’t disappoint with every collection different in their own way but similar in many others.
Karl Lagerfeld didn’t disappoint with this stripe filled collection filled with neutral tones is one that will be a key feature in the fashion world. Feminine silhouettes that tuck in at the waist giving definition, something that is very rare when it comes to stripes. Not only were the clothes the talking point but also the bags. Small and compact which is something everyone seems to be loving lately.

It was the last week of fashion month and it ends in Paris, one of the great cities in the world and a great place to end fashion month! There have been a lot collections that haven’t really been great for next season, especially in Milan, some of them ended up being a hot mess. But Paris has pulled out all the stops to help create the trend for next season!

Fashion month has reached it’s final destination: Paris.
It’s nearing the end of fashion month and with the beginning of some new creative directors at fashion houses such as Dior and Lanvin, what better way to kick off Paris Fashion Week. Fashion month is nearing the end and once again we have seen a glimpse into what trends will be gracing our Winter Wardrobes. From all four cities there is a high influence of fur (Faux, I’m hoping!) which means I can rock my graduate collection without looking out of trend!
I have put together some of my favourite pieces from some of the brands I love. Paris will always hold a special place in my heart, and with it facing fashion uncertainty, I think it will always be one of the Fashion capitals.
Giambattista Valli always manages to produce a great feminine collection season after season. The girly vibe with the soft pastel/nude elements mixed with the darker side of black makes the collection stand out! The soft fabrics with the floaty skirts are to die for! I LOVE those shoes, need them in my summer wardrobe!!

Today was the showing of the Stella McCartney Spring/Summer collection and it was an array of warm colours, lace and prints. With her mix of snake prints and florals that are easy on the eye, this collection is the perfect light addition to the summer. With the adjacent mix of strap lines, this is Stella’s take on a simple dress for the powerful work woman. Only the true Stella McCartney way. Below are my ten picks from the 38 piece collection….
It was also nice to see Miranda Kerr gracing the catwalks again.
