Now that LFW has finished it’s now time to move on to Milan, but before we do I have decided to put all my favourites into a blog post.
I was quite disappointed in LFW this year, I don’t think there was enough excitement surrounding it and therefore the collections that debuted didn’t really stand out. However, there were some gorgeous collections.
What an absolutely gorgeous collection by Julien Macdonald! The detail and intricacy is amazing, each dress has it’s own story to tell. The mixture of silver and black through out the collection brings a glamorous yet mysterious side to it. I want every piece of this collection!

So London Fashion Week has begun and if you follow me over on twitter (@serena_aashley) you may have seen a couple of collections I’ve been loving, even through NYFW. So I’ve popped them all into a post! Now I would be here all day if I listed every single one I’ve loved, so here are my top ten favourite’s. Oh and I would like to add welcome back to London Fashion Week, McQueen! For my AW16 predictions read below!
Welcome back to London Alexander McQueen, we have missed the presence of one Britain’s greatest labels at London Fashion Week and I now feel fashion week is great once again. Sarah Burton’s debut London collection one was of awe and absolutely mesmerising. With a fitted structure, thanks to the corsets, and the use of detail whether it was the beaded embellishment or the intricate use of lace, this collection was truly whimsical 😍

Over the past weekend there were some brilliant collections showcased. In this post I’m going to whittle down some of my favourite collections that showed brilliant pieces for the Spring Summer 2014 season. Here it goes:
Sister By Sibling SS14
House of Holland SS14
Holly Fulton SS14
Mary Kantrantzou SS14
Roksanda Illinic SS14
Peter Pilotto SS14
On the first day of London Fashion Week there were only a few collections presenting but here are some of my favourite picks from 3 of the collections, Christopher Raeburn & Jasper Conran.
First up is Christopher Raeburn, the use of pattern fabrics will work great in the Spring Summer Seasons along with the use of light weight fabrics. I have a strong feeling the camo print is here to stay but lets hope its used in the right way! Below are my top four picks from the collection….
Christopher Raeburn SS14
The next collection that I loved from day one was Jasper Conran. His collection used cute floaty fabrics with pastel effect prints. Pastel colours are becoming a strong trend for the summer seasons. Also the colour white is also going be a strong staple piece along with his use of collars.
