Fashion Month Favourites: Milan & Paris

It’s come to that time now that fashion month is over, where we all start wondering what did we do before then? I will miss pondering through the Vogue Runway app, seeing who’s dropped what. But although it’s over I put together my favourite collections from the last two cities, Milan & Paris.

Next Stop…

Milan certainly didn’t disappoint with every collection different in their own way but similar in many others.

Karl Lagerfeld didn’t disappoint with this stripe filled collection filled with neutral tones is one that will be a key feature in the fashion world. Feminine silhouettes that tuck in at the waist giving definition, something that is very rare when it comes to stripes. Not only were the clothes the talking point but also the bags. Small and compact which is something everyone seems to be loving lately.

Paris Fashion Week Favourites

It was the last week of fashion month and it ends in Paris, one of the great cities in the world and a great place to end fashion month! There have been a lot collections that haven’t really been great for next season, especially in Milan, some of them ended up being a hot mess. But Paris has pulled out all the stops to help create the trend for next season!

Read below to see who I picked:

Best of Pre-Fall 17 – Part 1

It’s scary to think that we are still basking in the fashion of fall 16/17, whilst gearing up for the release of summer 17 that the Pre-Fall collections have started surfacing. It just goes to show how quick the year is going especially with the return of Fashion Month next month.  But before that begins I’ve round up all my favourite collections for Pre-Fall, read below to see my favourites in Part 1.

Fashion Week Favourite’s: Paris

Fashion month is nearing the end and once again we have seen a glimpse into what trends will be gracing our Winter Wardrobes. From all four cities there is a high influence of fur (Faux, I’m hoping!) which means I can rock my graduate collection without looking out of trend!

I have put together some of my favourite pieces from some of the brands I love. Paris will always hold a special place in my heart, and with it facing fashion uncertainty, I think it will always be one of the Fashion capitals.

Giambattista Valli

Giambattista Valli always manages to produce a great feminine collection season after season. The girly vibe with the soft pastel/nude elements mixed with the darker side of black makes the collection stand out! The soft fabrics with the floaty skirts are to die for! I LOVE those shoes, need them in my summer wardrobe!!

January Favourites 2015

Its been a while since I uploaded or even wrote a blog post, I’ve been seriously slacking but things have become extremely busy!

So to start off the new year, although we are now in month 2, I thought what better way that to fill you in on all the goodies I’ve been enjoying this month!

Firstly its a beauty product that not only have I been loving as one of my staple products but one that has come in handy this month. And that is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. It gives an amazing coverage on both the dark circles under the eyes and also those lovely little spots that pop up out of no where. It’s definitely a beauty staple must have!

Now the next one is also a beauty related product. This time in the form of brushes. I have absolutely fallen in love with the new Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection! Although it is a bit pricey as it’s dubbed a ‘premium collection’, it’s the colour of the metals and the softness of the brush that has made me fallen in love with them! The ones that I bought were: (Left to Right) RT 100 Arched Powder Brush, RT 101 Triangle Foundation Brush and RT 300 Tapered Blush Brush. I’ve always loved the RT collection but this has made me love them even more!

The next one is from the Revlon Moisture Stain collection and it is in the colour 005 Parisian Passion. Its the perfect winter colour and even though we are soon approaching spring, I love the dark berry tone to it.

The next beauty product I’m absolutely loving is the MAC Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo. It has amazing staying power that will last all and once paired with the MAC lip liner in Cherry, you can get the perfect start for an amazing lip! Definitely one of the most gorgeous reds I’ve encountered.

Moving on from beauty, I have selected an album that I’ve been loving is the newly released debut album from Meghan Trainor. She may have had the success of two incredibly catchy songs, but her album is true to her style! She has an Olly Murs-esque style to her songs. The ones I’ve been loving are Dear Future Husband, Title, Like I’m Gonna Lose You and Credit. Check out the album if you haven’t already!

Another track that I have been absolutely obsessed with is the new track from Ellie Goulding, Love Me Like You Do. Its featured on the new soundtrack for Fifty Shades of Grey and its one song that I just cannot stop listening to! Check it out!

Now in terms of fashion, there hasn’t been much that has caught my eye as most of the shops here in the UK still have there sale on! But one collection I have been loving is the new collection from TOWIE’s Lauren Pope. I love the slogan sweatshirts and the bomber jacket featured below. Its sold exclusively through In The Style and can be bought here, so check it out!

Another bit of fashion that I’ve been enjoying is the shows of Spring Couture 2015. Those collections are amazing and the intricate work that goes into each and every garment is outstanding. My favourite shows were Elie Saab and Giambattista Valli.
