It’s come to that time now that fashion month is over, where we all start wondering what did we do before then? I will miss pondering through the Vogue Runway app, seeing who’s dropped what. But although it’s over I put together my favourite collections from the last two cities, Milan & Paris.
Milan certainly didn’t disappoint with every collection different in their own way but similar in many others.
Karl Lagerfeld didn’t disappoint with this stripe filled collection filled with neutral tones is one that will be a key feature in the fashion world. Feminine silhouettes that tuck in at the waist giving definition, something that is very rare when it comes to stripes. Not only were the clothes the talking point but also the bags. Small and compact which is something everyone seems to be loving lately.

If you have been following me on instagram (if not, why not?!) you will have seen that I have been posting my favourite pieces from each fashion show over the last month. Now that fashion month is drawing to a close, I thought what better way than to share my thoughts on my top collections from each city. First up New York & London.
Back to where it all began..
There was an array of different trends that cropped up for next season, some of which were See Now Buy Now. But there were a few collections that stood out more than others, some of which are in my list of all time favourite brands.
Tom Ford brought back the power shoulder with soft cuts in the form of blazer jackets and ultra feminine silhouettes in the form of a pink colour palette and rouching. His collections never fail to disappoint, the simplicity of his fabrics choices create powerful collections time after time and this has proven exactly that.

It’s been a while since I last did a haul post and I thought no better way than to do a mini haul from my sudden panic that it was getting colder. September is generally supposed to be still quite warm, warm enough that you could still get away with wearing your summer wardrobe. But no, it’s starting to get colder with that autumnal feel fast approaching.
I don’t think I am quite ready to let go of summer just yet, as I noticed that with the colder mornings and much more rainy days I was reaching for jumpers. And with that I had a sudden panic that I didn’t own near enough jumpers, especially lightweight transitional ones! This resulted in me taking a trip up to central and having a little spending spree.
The first place I immediately went to was Stradivarius, I had said at the beginning of the year that it was my favourite new store (here) and it did not disappoint.

Today’s post is going back to what I love most, style posts, and today it’s all about the slogan tee.
The slogan tee is the one item that every girl has in their wardrobe at the moment, whether it’s one that’s a fashion statement or is a relatable quote. It’s a staple t-shirt that can be worn either dress up or dressed down.
I have put together a post that captures that transition of wearing it during the day, whether you wear it running around or as part of your casual work outfit and then as part of your evening outfit, whether it’s for a date or cocktails with the girls.

When it comes to travelling, I prefer to travel in something that is comfortable yet stylish and I felt this outfit was perfect choice! Especially when you are on a long haul flight you want comfort but something that still makes you not only look great but also feel great, because everyone knows how rubbish you feel after a flight.
Read more below to see where I picked up these pieces!
GIRL NEXT DOOR Slogan T-Shirt (SOLD OUT) – If you follow my blog you may have spotted this in my Spring Haul post. I’m a sucker for a slogan tee and this one is fun for the summer! It’s now no longer on the Zara Website but if your lucky you might find it in one of their stores.
Frayed Hem Jeans (£29.99) – These jeans were also featured in my Spring Haul Post. Everyone knows that ripped hem jeans are a major fashion trend for this Spring/Summer, and these ones are super comfortable! They make a great travelling jean due to the elasticity in the denim. These are ones that I definitely recommend!
The shoes are the infamous Prada dupes that Primark have been selling. I was lucky enough to pick up a pair and they are great for going through the airport when you are going to a hot country. At £8.00 they are ridiculously cheap in comparison to the Prada ones which retail at over £500.00. They look perfect under jeans or under shorts!
Hope you enjoyed this post!
